12/21/07: Dane Miller leads R-H over Fairport with big slam
Rush-Henrietta's Dane Miller notched his second Toyota Play of the Week for the season with a dunk in the Royal Comets' 67-47 win Friday night at Fairport.

Miller scored 24 points in the game.

12/14/07: Brian Benson goes above the rim to lead Athena
Brian Benson's alley-oop jam against Hilton is the Toyota Play of the Week.  Benson scored 17 points and had a pair of slam dunks in the Trojans' victory.

12/7/07: Dane Miller slams home a victory for R-H
Rush-Henrietta's Dane Miller makes the steal and goes in for a dunk as the Royal Comets beat Brockport.  It's the Toyota Play of the Week.

11/30/07: Roderick Gray slams for Kearney
Bishop Kearney's Roderick Gray scored 23 points, including a slam dunk, as the Kings won the opening round game in their tournament 66-57 over Marshall.

The game was tied entering the fourth quarter before Gray and his Kings teammates pulled away.

11/23/07: Anthony Fitts leads Aquinas to 4th state title
Aquinas running back Anthony Fitts rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Lil' Irish to a 34-12 win over Lansingburgh in the state finals.  Fitts' physical 17 yard touchdown run in the first quarter is the Toyota Play of the Week.

11/16/07 Cedrick Barber secures trip to finals
Aquinas running back Cedrick Barber's 6 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter put the finishing touch on the Little Irish's 17-0 victory over Carthage.

The victory puts Aquinas in the Class A title game next week.  Barber finished the night with 9 carries for 42 yards and was named the offensive MVP of the state semifinal game.

11/9/07 Anthony Fitts breaks free for long touchdown run
Aquinas running back Anthony Fitts ran into a pile of defenders but found a way to break free and sprint 76 yards for a touchdown to help lead the Lil' Irish to a 28-7 win over Sweet Home in the state quarterfinals. It's the Toyota High School Football Play of the Week.

11/2/07 Mike Humphrey catches winning touchdown
LeRoy's Mike Humphrey hauled in a pass from Travis Fenstermaker on 4th & 3 for what proved to be the winning points in a 14-9 sectional championship victory over Pembroke.

Humphrey's touchdown gave the Oatkan Knights a 14-3 lead in the fourth quarter.  With the win LeRoy now owns 13 sectional football titles.

10/26/07 Deven Hopkins breaks long TD for Lancers
Deven Hopkins' 51-yard touchdown run in Eastridge's 21-0 win over Wilson is the Toyota Play of the Week.

10/19/07 Kaheem Gist record setter
Canandaigua senior running back Kaheem Gist set a new Section Five single game rushing record with 449 yards and tied his own touchdown record with 7 in a 56-39 Class AA playoff victory over Hilton Friday night at PAETEC Park.

Gist scored on runs of 13, 9, 1, 2, 51, 44 and 53 yards.  The Braves improve to 8-0 and advance to next weeks Class AA Championship game.

The victory avenged a loss to the Saints back in August on opening night.  After scoring the game winner Broyld said, "That loss just hurt so much.  We didn't want to feel that way again."  Broyld and his teammates advance to next weekend's semifinal action.

10/5/07 Chad Dillard makes juggling catch
Gates-Chili senior receiver Chad Dillard made a juggling touchdown catch in a 42-14 win over Webster Schroeder.

For the game Dillard caught three passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns.
