In April 28, 1913 the Village of Canandaigua became the City of Canandaigua. Now it is the hub of historic, leisure and business activity in the Finger Lakes Region.

Many of the local businesses would like to thank the community for their continued support over the years. These sponsors have come together with News10NBC to create a special message to celebrate 100 years.

Different organizations, citizens and groups have come together to create a full calendar of Centennial events that are open to our residents and visitors alike.  Salutes, speakers, music, tours, parades, exhibits and receptions are just some of the types of events that are taking place through the 2013 calendar year.

For updates, fun facts, contests, and to share your Canandaigua stories with others in our online community, like us on Facebook.

Happy Birthday Canandaigua! We invite you to join the residents, businesses, and organizations that live and work in the beautiful City of Canandaigua as they celebrate the past 100 years.
