‘Home Alone’ house listed for one-night stay on Airbnb

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —Kevin!!!

Alright, now that we have your attention: If you’re a fan of the Christmas classic "Home Alone", you’ll have a chance to spend a night in the very same house Kevin McAllister (played by Macaulay Culkin) was left home alone in.

Airbnb announced it will rent out the real-world home near Chicago for one night only, with bookings set to start next Tuesday at 3 p.m.

This listing reads:

"This holiday season, we’re playing by my little bro’s rules, so feel free to eat junk food, watch rubbish on TV, borrow my dad’s aftershave and choose your own adventure with a legendary battle plan as a guide. Just stay out of my room, okay?"

According to Airbnb, you’ll be welcomed at the home by Kevin’s older brother, Buzz (actually, it’ll be the actor who played him, Devin Ratray) you’ll also get a chance to set up some booby traps, enjoy "Chicago’s finest pizza" and a candlelit dinner of microwavable Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, you’ll also meet a real-life tarantula (if you’re into that)

The house will be set up with, yes, a Christmas theme, including a "perfectly-trimmed tree" plus other amenities. You’ll also get to build and take home your own Lego set!

All of this will come without the threat of the wet bandits (we’re looking at you, Marv and Harry) The cost for all of this? Just $25.00. Airbnb says it will also be making a donation to a Chicago area children’s hospital.

The booking is listed for Sunday, Dec.12. Per Airbnb, it’s not a contest, so you’ll be responsible for getting yourself to and from the house. Don’t forget the after-shave!
