Rochester named one of the cheapest cities to live in
Rochester is the place to be if you're looking for a bargain.
Forbes named the cheapest cities to live in America and Rochester ranked number 38. Syracuse was 21 and Buffalo was 41. The cheapest place to live in the country is Manchester, New Hampshire.
Researchers studied housing affordability and the cost of living figures before putting the list together.
