Update on Midtown Plaza project
There is new information on the Midtown Plaza project.
Senator Chuck Schumer has secured $1.4-million from a transportation subcommittee that would create new streets and sidewalks in that area along with other transportation improvements once Midtown is torn down. The funding still has to be approved by the full Senate.
PAETEC CEO Arunas Chesonis tells News 10NBC plans are still in the works to build PAETEC's headquarters at the Midtown site, but the company is waiting for asbestos removal to be finished.
