Local college rape arrest
An Steuben County man was arrested after being accused of rape at the Finger Lakes College Suites.
Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Scott Lusk, 22, of Wayland, Saturday after having sex with an 18-year old who was physically helpless at the time.
The suites house students attending Finger Lakes Community College.
Lusk was arraigned in Manchester Town Court. His expected back in court at a later date.
FLCC issued a statement saying, "We are aware that a student has been arrested and are greatly concerned about the situation. We want to emphasize that FLCC is first and foremost concerned about the safety and welfare of our students. The college is working closely with investigating authorities and offering support to the female student who made the report while respecting the role of the judicial process as it goes forward."
