Deadly one-car crash near Geneseo

State Police have confirmed to News 10NBC one person is dead after a one-car crash in Livingston County. It happened around 2 p.m. Wednesday on Route 390 near Geneseo.

Carol Andrews, 63 of Bath, lost control of the vehicle, and went off the right side of the road down a steep wooden ravine.

The passenger in the car Mildred Caughel, 82 also from Bath, was pronounced dead at the scene. Andrews was flown to Strong Hospital by Mercy Flight with non-life threatening injuries.

The New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit is conducting an investigation.
