A Mount Morris Police Sergeant injured Geneseo crash
A Mount Morris Police Officer is in the hospital after a serious car crash in Geneseo.
Livingston County Sheriffs say Sergeant Kenneth Mignemi was hurt after the car he was riding in crashed into a tree.
The 39-year-old was a passenger in a car driven by 27-year-old Matthew O'Dell.
Investigators say O'Dell was heading west on Route 20-a when he fell asleep at the wheel. His car crossed lanes before smashing into a tree.
Both Mignemi and O'Dell were taken to Strong Hospital with serious injuries. They are listed in guarded condition.
