Dotson was killed inside his barber shop almost a year ago. He helped create the Cut the Violence Program which gives free haircuts to kids. Today, McCullough pled not guilty to murder and attempted robbery. He has been in jail since March for another robbery that occurred on Lakeview Park. That's not all - McCullough and two of his brothers were acquitted for shooting and killing a 17-year-old in November of 2006. News 10NBC spoke with one of his brothers today. McCullough’s brother Wayne said he’s innocent. “I’m his brother and they keep trying to blame these charges on him, all type of charges. I don't even know what’s going on. My brother is not even like this, he didn't do this. I don’t know what these people are doing, this system is all messed up and everything.” Assistant District Attorney Aik Ganguly said, “We continue to investigate any associations that people have with each other. We continue to investigate that.” The other two suspects charged in connection with Dotson's death are 25-year-old Kevin Harvey and his brother 23-year-old Willie Harvey.
