House Democratic PAC pulls in $3M
House Majority PAC, a super PAC supporting Democratic House candidates, pulled in nearly $3 million in late May and June, its best fundraising period ever, according to federal campaign filings. The PAC’s haul came primarily from contributions from labor unions and wealthy Democratic financiers.

Obamacare Now OK in Some Franked Mailings
Although I personally hate the term “Obamacare” folks in congress are using the term to their ends. Positive and negative. Now, however, Members can use the unofficial moniker for the Affordable Care Act in taxpayer-financed mailings, but only if it’s in the context of the title of the bill the House passed today. That measure includes the following as its Section 1: “This Act may be cited as the ‘Repeal of Obamacare Act.’”  http://bit.ly/N9lk1q
