A push to increase tourism in upstate New York is going international.

Starting at 11 a.m. Monday, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand will be in Macedon to discuss plans to bring an international art show to the Erie Canal Corridor.  The senator's office says the global mural convention, which would be hosted in Rochester in 2016, would highlight a range of public and mural artwork.

Senator Gillibrand will also break down details of her plan to bring federal recognition to the canal's national heritage corridor.
