Rochester man facing new charges after death threats against government officials

A Rochester man already accused of threatening to kill President Obama is facing new charges.

A federal grand jury indicted Brandon Correa, 30, on seven criminal counts.

Prosecutors say he made posted death threats online about President Obama, Governor Cuomo, Lieutenant Governor Duffy and Mayor Lovely Warren.

According to the indictment, some of the posts came after the initial arrest for making death threats.

If convicted, Correa faces up to 35 years in prison.
