City asks for redevelopment plans for Midtown Tower
With PAETEC scaling back its plans for Midtown, the city of Rochester is now calling on developers to revamp the Midtown Tower.
The city wants private developers to come forward and present plans for the tower but there are some restrictions.
City leaders say the company must transform or upgrade the building in some form. Another must on the list - developers must have a timely plan that fits within the Midtown demolition schedule.
The deadline for submitting proposals is March 2, 2009.
