 An Allegany County school bus driver was arrested for driving drunk. State Police say Martha Thompson drives for the Alfred-Almond School District.
State police said 15 students, ranging in age from 5 to 15, were onboard Friday when she’s accused of driving the bus drunk. Apparently it was such a dangerous ride some of the kids jumped out the emergency exit when the bus stopped.
A driver called 911 when she saw some of the older kids jumping out of the back door. Thompson was arraigned in the town of west almond and released on her own recognizance.
