Bills waive 5 players, including LB Costanzo
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - Linebacker Blake Costanzo and four other players have been waived by the Buffalo Bills as the team concluded its final spring minicamp session.
Used primarily on special teams, Costanzo played in all 16 games last season. He also appeared in three games for Buffalo in 2007.
Also waived by the Bills on Thursday were defensive linemen John Faletoese and Gerald Washington, offensive lineman Joel Bell and defensive back Kyle Ward.
The Bills completed a three-day mandatory minicamp on Thursday. The team is off until training camp opens July 25.
Today the Bills also announced their training camp schedule. It will kick off July 25 at St. John Fisher and fans will be able to take advantage of open practices July 25 and July 26.
Their night practice dates are tentatively schedule for July 28, July 30, August 4, 6, 11 and 12.
