NY police describe pickup in fatal hit-and-run
ELMIRA, N.Y. (AP) - Police are looking for the driver of a silver pickup truck that hit and killed a bicyclist riding on an upstate New York street.
Elmira police say the victim was riding early Sunday morning when he was hit by either a Dodge Dakota or a Dodge Durango pickup, causing damage to the front end on the passenger side.
The driver left the scene.
Authorities aren't releasing the victim's name until relatives are notified.
Police say there were no witnesses to the incident. A pedestrian found the victim later in the morning.
