Testimony continues in quadruple murder trial of Rochester teen

Jaquan Clark trial jury selectionAn unexpected witness testified today in a quadruple murder trial. That witness is still in high school.

Jaquan Clark is charged with killing three people right after Christmas. Police also say Clark killed Alfred Ocasio three days earlier.

Shocking details continue to unfold in this trial.

The victims’ family members had to look at graphic, gruesome pictures of their loved ones from the murder scene on Tuesday.

One of the victim’s sisters told News 10NBC those images are stuck in her head, that she had nightmares and couldn't sleep.

Today, one witness testified Clark came to her house all bloody the night of the murders.

Arielle Griffin's mom also took the stand today and identified the jewelry and the car found at the scene.

Andrea Lipton, an 11th grader at Northstar Christian Academy, was living with Clark and says he confessed to shooting someone in the face, and that he was running from police. During the cross examination, the defense attorney pointed out that Lipton herself, was arrested Tuesdsay night.

The victims' families say they can't even look in Clark’s direction.

Desire Warney said, “I try not to because if I look at him I know I’ll want to go over there and do something and I know I can't so I just look straight an pay attention.”

Carol Dritschell said, “How can someone be that brutal? I mean what was he thinking? Seventeen-years old, that hurts you know and he took a 17-year-olds life, what was he thinking?”

Clark’s attorney James Nobles said, “He's a 17-year-old with a 10th grade education. He understands that theses are incredible serious charges against him as well as the fact that this is a very tragic situation and I think he is proceeding with the difficulty of it all quite well.”

Clark’s lawyer does not deny that his client was in the house but says Clark was not the shooter.
