Pittsford native wins Wall Street decathlon for father

Pittsford native Kyle Peterson is the unofficial best athlete on Wall Street after placing first in a charity decathlon Saturday.

Peterson, a 24-year old graduate of Pittsford Mendon High School, says he entered the competition in honor of his father, Craig, who is battling cancer.

The decathlon, which benefits Lance Armstrong's LiveStrong Foundation, consisted of ten dynamic events, including sprints, basketball free-throw shooting and pull-ups.

Peterson is a first-year associate at SageView Capital LP. He defeated 29 other traders, bankers and advisers in the competition, which raises money for cancer research.
