Helping kids get off the streets so they can be involved in the community is the goal of the annual Steppin' Up to Solutions Youth Conference at Nazareth College Saturday.

City officials teamed up with the college to walk students through the process of developing service programs and addressing issues in the community.

About 100 Rochester kids and 50 students and staff from Nazareth took part Saturday.
