Changes to new Capital One credit card contracts

Created: 02/18/2014 6:57 AM WHEC.com

If you use a Capital One credit card, make sure you read the fine print in your contract. The company's new rules could end up with a visit to your home or office.

A report from the LA Times found those new contracts say Capital One representatives can, “contact you in any manner we choose". That includes calls, emails, texts and personal visits.

Capital One representatives say that language could be misleading and you'll only get a personal visit if collectors are repossessing something big like a car.
