The Rochester Music Hall of Fame will hold its third annual induction ceremony in April, celebrating the best in Rochester music. The 2014 inductees were announced Monday.

The inductees are Duke Jupiter, David Hochstein, Emily Sibley Watson, WDKX radio and the House of Guitars music store.

Karl LaPorta, Rochester Music Hall of Fame Chairman, said, "It's considered to be the biggest music store in the world and for 50 years it has been the one stop shop for musicians in Rochester and nationwide and even abroad.”

New this year, the board of directors will be handing out the special merit award, honoring people with local ties that have made a significant contribution to music locally and nationally. That award will go to Ethel Gabriel, a Grammy-winning producer and Peter Morticelli, who has had a number of jobs in the music business.

The ceremony will be Sunday April 27 . Click here to purchase tickets.
