Rachel joined the News10NBC team in March 2014. She came to Rochester by way of Watertown's WWNY-TV. At 7News she reported on crippling ice storms, the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, and the economic impact of big businesses opening and closing in the North Country.
Rachel is excited to call Rochester her new home. She hails from out West, having lived in Salt Lake City and Los Angeles. Rachel graduated cum laude from the University of Utah with an Honors B.A. in Journalism. A portion of her TV news background comes from internships, including one at CNN in Atlanta and another at CBS in Los Angeles.
Rachel got her start in local news when she was a reporter and weekend producer at KCSG-TV in Southern Utah. She attended President Obama's first inauguration as a reporter for KCSG-TV and was interviewed live after the swearing-in ceremonies.
When she isn't reporting, Rachel loves to work out, travel, spend time with family and friends, and stay up to speed on what's happening in the community and around the world.
She is always up to try new things and is excited for the adventures that await her in the Flower City.
Rachel would love to hear from you. If you have a story idea or just want to say hi, please feel free to contact her!
