After more than two feet of snow, summer may be the last thing on people's minds.
Experts, however, say that now is the time for parents to plan for summer camp. That may be why Genesee Valley Parent Magazine held its 23rd Camp Fair on Sunday Eastview Mall.
More than 70 camps from the Rochester and Finger Lakes area discussed their programs with parents. One positive was that the fair had a wide range of choices available.
"It is amazing the variety that you can have," says Salley Thornton of Genesee Valley Parent Magazine.
"There's a camp for coding for computers, there's a camp here for gymnastics- which you might expect, sailing, there's a camp for how to build a very house... just about anything you could think of, Rochester's got it covered and we can take care of it for you."
Anyone who missed Sunday's event will be able to find information on summer camps in the next issue of Genesee Valley Parent Magazine.
