We're hearing more from developer and former Buffalo School Board member Carl Paladino.

Paladino sat down with our affiliate WGRZ for an interview about the very controversial comments he made. The one-time Republican candidate for governor came under fire after making statements about former president Barack Obama and the First Lady. Paladino has publicly apologized, but he was removed from the Buffalo School Board for other reasons.

Scott Levin, WGRZ: Why did you say those racist things about Michelle Obama?

Carl Paladino: First of all, they are not racist. I was talking about two people, not a race of people. I was talking about two people whom I have no respect for, as do many people, no respect whatsoever in a world that is so messed up.

Paladino is challenging his removal from the board. When asked what's next, Paladino said he's considering a run for governor.
