Connor watched his dad rally a cross country team he coaches.

The team brought gently used coats to their season ending banquet to give coats to their friend, Colin who started warm hearts, warm bodies.

When Connor's birthday came around, he asked his friends to bring coats to donate instead of gifts for him. And Connor didn't stop after his birthday.

"I asked student council if I could have a bin here so people who don't need the extra clothes can put them in there."

Connor ended up with two full boxes of coats after his birthday.

He was nominated for his volunteerism and caring.
