Our latest Do the Right Thing award winner is an eleventh grader from the Harley School.

Ryan Woodhams has a special passion for baseball and he wanted to make sure any kid who wanted to play baseball could do so and that lack of equipment would not be a barrier.

Ryan, last summer, organized a baseball drive to collect gently used baseball equipment.

"I know there are people in the Rochester community and how do we know that the next Mario isn't here and he has the passion and drive to bat 300 times a day and throw 100 times a day and doesn't have the means to do so," he asked.

Ryan was able to collect 150 pairs of cleats and plenty of bats and catching gear to donate for people in our community.
