A Rochester man has accepted a plea deal on Wednesday following a fatal crash on Halloween night in 2017.
Isaac McCrea was charged with vehicular manslaughter, aggravated DWI with a child passenger, and DWI.
McCrea’s six-month-old daughter Karena McCrea was killed in the crash on Route 104. Investigators say McCrea went off the road and crashed into a tree. Two other children in the car were injured.
The 34-year-old took the courts offer of two to six years for first degree vehicular manslaughter, concurrent with aggravated DWI charges. He will also face three years of post-release supervision.
The day after the crash, Issac McCrea sobbed outside of his court hearing saying, “I'm so sorry, that was my baby girl and it was an accident.”
