Our latest Do the Right Thing award winner is a sixth grader from James Audubon School 33.
Isaiah Mahoney was nominated for his volunteerism and work ethic. Isaiah gets to school early every day. He helps in the school kitchen. He packs up breakfast bins and helps deliver them around school.
He says, "My siblings were being hectic and I wanted to leave home early that morning and when I went to school, I didn't want to just be sitting for so long so I went to the lunch room and asked if I could help and that's how it started."
Isaiah has sent a good example for his classmate. He is clearly hard-working and very dependable.
