Kodak to lay off ~100 employees in Rochester

Kodak is announcing more layoffs after releasing a report Wednesday showing a net loss in earnings.

The company reported a $46 million net loss in its fiscal third quarter earnings. At the same time, a spokesman tells News10NBC it will lay off approximately 100 workers in the Rochester area. In total, Kodak will lay off 425 workers company-wide.

The report came after the close of Wall Street. Kodak stock now trades at $5.20 a share.

The bad news comes a week after experts gave a gloomy outlook for Kodak's future.
