Police in Massachusetts report that they found nearly 40 gallons of alcohol in a man's van during a traffic stop.

Massachusetts State Troopers stopped Edwin Loyola-Delvalle, 49, in Boston early Monday morning for a violation.

The level of alcohol seized in the car violates Massachusetts state law. In all, troopers said the van contained 30.375 gallons of malt liquor and 8.7 gallons of alcoholic beverage. Massachusetts State Police said Loyola was planning to sell the alcohol.

In addition to the alcohol, troopers said they also found a bag with what they believe is cocaine in Loyola-Delvalle's vehicle.
