Mavis Staples performs for packed crowd at Jazz Fest

Living legend Mavis Staples headlined the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival on Wednesday night.

The gospel and blues singer took the stage at the Eastman Theatre for the sixth night of the festival. Staples began recording at age 13 and has worked with countless legends over 60 years of performing. Perhaps her best known hit was the song "I'll Take You There."
