The college and RTS announced they're partnering up to provide students with free bus transportation to the Brighton and downtown campuses.

Staff and faculty of the college will also be able to take advantage of this. The hope is that this will result in safe, convenient, and reliable travel.

"I think it's fair to say that most people don't know that students take courses at both campuses," says Anne Kress, MCC president. "About 1,000 students take courses at the Brighton and downtown campus, so I think it's not only important to access a campus but access between both campuses as well."

Free rides will be offered starting the first day of classes this fall -- that's September 5.
