The New Orleans mayor says pump repairs have been made-- but the city still remains at risk if a major storm were to hit.
New Orleans saw more than 10 inches of rain fall last weekend -- causing severe street flooding.
A turbine that provides power to the city's drainage system was damaged in a fire on Wednesday, leaving residents and city officials concerned ahead of rainfall this weekend.
Forecasters are predicting an additional two inches of rainfall in some areas this weekend.
