And take a look at this tweet – "BREAKING NEWS: Usain Bolt donates $150 million dollars to Hurricane Harvey Victims." But this too is noise. CBS News tweeted that Sandra Bullock donated $1 million for Harvey relief: quoting her as saying: "There are no politics in eight feet of water."

While some on social media posted that she donated $2 million – she did in fact donate $1 million.

The Associated Press tweeted President Donald Trump pledged to donate $1 million of his own money to Harvey relief efforts. The White House has confirmed the claim -- making it news. We've yet to learn what organization his donation will go to.

There are reports circulating that Walmart donated $1 million. In a press release, Walmart pledged to donate up to $10 million in cash and product to match customer donations two to one."

Depending on customer donations, the donation could be over one million -- this one is news. And finally the largest donation yet: Social media is going crazy wondering if Michael Dell, the owner of Dell Technologies, really donated $36 million to the relief efforts.

It's true, Dell pledged $18 million himself and will spend up to another $18 million matching donations. It's part of the Rebuild Texas Fund launched by him and his wife, which hopes to raise over $100 million for the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
