Police: Rochester man charged with DWI after hitting police car

A Rochester man is facing charges after police say he was driving drunk when he hit a police cruiser.

Officers say 60-year-old Peter Sealy was driving on Barberry Terrace around 2:45 Friday morning when he ran a stop sign, turned onto carter street, and hit a police car. The officer was taken to the hospital and treated for a minor injury.

Sealy was arrested for DWI and issued an appearance ticket.
