Rochester declares "Mike Seidel Day" after Weather Channel reporter delivers 20,000th live report

A day after arriving in Rochester to cover the oncoming snowstorm, on Saturday Weather Channel meteorologist and reporter Mike Seidel was honored by the city for the 20,000th report from the field in his career.

The City declared a "Mike Seidel Day" in Rochester in recognition of his long career and milestone live shot. The proclamation from Mayor Lovely Warren was presented to him on-air during a Weather Channel segment by Tiana Stephens of the City of Rochester.

Seidel's first live shot for the Weather Channel was in 1995.
