Police say they found bundles containing 34 new cell phones, chargers, knives, and tobacco. Investigators say those bundles were disguised to look like snow, and the plan was to throw them over the prison fence, into a recreational area where inmates would retrieve them.

Investigators did not say what prison Matos and the unidentified man were going to.

The investigation is going.
