Roads are closed throughout the city tonight, some even blocked since 7 o'clock this morning for the Rochester Twilight Criterium bike race.

You still need to stay away from some streets.

Court Street from South avenue to Clinton Avenue is closed, and several other roads will stay blocked off until about 1:45am tonight.

The Rochester Twilight Criterium is the only pro-road race happening in the US this weekend.

It brought out at least 25,000 people.

That included bicyclists, amateur and elite, along with spectators.

Criteriums are best explained as uniquely American-style bike races - where city streets become courses.
