Sabres’ Evander Kane arrested for harassment, trespass

Buffalo police arrested Sabres’ forward Evander Kane on Friday for an incident that happened at a bar in June. 

Police say Kane was involved in an early morning incident on the day of June 24 at an establishment located in the first block of Chippewa. He was charged with four separate counts of non-criminal harassment and one count of criminal trespass, a misdemeanor.

According to police reports, one woman told police that Kane threatened her inside the club, and while outside grabbed her throat and tried to push her into his car. The second woman accused Kane of trying to force her from the bar.

Kane was processed at Central Booking and issued an appearance ticket.
