Deputies say the driver of the sedan stopped at a stop sign and then attempted to turn left from Huffer onto North Avenue in front of the school bus.

The bus driver veered into the opposite lane to prevent hitting the vehicle directly on its side. Instead, investigators say the sedan hit the luggage storage space of the bus. The impact of the collision sent the bus into a yard.

Thankfully, at the time of the crash, there were no students on the bus; the bus driver wasn't hurt either. And the driver of the sedan only suffered a shoulder injury.

He was transported to Unity hospital for treatment. No word on if any tickets will be issued in the crash.
