RIT among "The Best 371 Colleges"

WHEC-TVRochester Institute of Technology is being recognized as one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company features RIT in the just-published 2010 edition of its annual book The Best 371 Colleges.

This year's addition also ranks RIT in top 20 for "best career services" based on students' rating of campus career and job placement services. RIT ranked 18 for least beautiful campus.

The university has one of the oldest and largest cooperative education programs in the nation.

Other local colleges on the list:
SUNY Geneseo - made the 2010 list for Best Northeastern Colleges
Nazareth College - made the 2010 list for Best Northeastern Colleges and ranked 6 for Best College Theatre
Hobart William Smith - made the 2010 list for Best Northeastern Colleges and ranked #18 for Best Study Abroad Program
