RCSD named top green energy school
The Rochester City School District made the Environmental Protection Agency's list of the top 20 schools in America that use renewable energy. The RCSD came in at number three. According to the EPA, 18% of the district's electricity comes from wind power.
The Austin Independent District in Texas came in at number one. 39% of their electricity comes from green energy.
