Rochester man stabbed on Lyell Avenue
Rochester Police are investigating the stabbing of a 20-year-old Rochester man. It happened around 1:40 p.m. on Lyell Avenue.
The victim, Carlos Rivera, told police he was approached by two men demanding his property. Rivera refused to hand over his personal items and began to fight with the suspects when he was cut in the chest and abdomen by the suspects.
Police say Rivera’s injuries are not life threatening. They are continuing their investigation.
