Rochester man pleads guilty in deadly 390 crash
One year after killing a woman in a car accident while driving the wrong way, a Rochester man today has pled guilty. Daniel Tewksbury pled guilty to first-degree vehicular manslaughter.
Last February, Tewksbury was driving on the wrong side of 390 in Brighton when he hit Nancy DeCarr. Police originally blamed DeCarr for driving the wrong way, but a grand jury indictment pointed the finger at Tewksbury.
The prosecution said his blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
Tewksbury is scheduled to be sentenced in January.
