Former nursing home aide charged with stealing from elderly resident

Latoya HardingA former Rochester nursing home aide is being charged for stealing nearly $2,500 from a 90-year-old resident.

Attorney General Andrew Cuomo says 28-year-old Latoya Harding allegedly stole a credit card from a resident suffering from dementia at Blossom South. She purchased multiple items, paid bills and made many ATM withdrawals. 

Harding has since been fired and arraigned in city court on multiple charges. She faces two and a third to seven years in prison.
