Pittsford church members are "warming warriors"

On Sunday, members of the Pittsford Baptist Church showed their support for the men and women who have served our country.

They collected new winter coats, athletic clothes, and blankets for seriously wounded veterans at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Most soldiers who are transported to the center arrive in just a hospital gown because of the urgency of their medical needs.

The deadline to drop off coats, sweats, or blankets is Wednesday.
