Assisted senior living community in Pittsford expanding
Another multi-million dollar expansion in our area is already underway. The Glenmere at Cloverwood broke ground today on its six-million dollar project in Pittsford.
Glenmere is an assisted living community for seniors. The facility is more than doubling it's size adding another 37 apartments.
The executives today say they are thankful for the opportunity to expand especially in this tough economy. President and CEO James Dewhirst said, “Caring for our seniors is really a labor of love for all of us and it does require a partnership and we're challenged, day in and day out by many things, in particular, resources.”
The new apartments, which are being designed for adults suffering with memory loss, are expected to be completed by next summer.
