City to meet with RBTL on performing arts center
Rochester will make its pitch to put the RBTL’s new theater downtown on Monday when Mayor Bob Duffy meets with representatives of the Broadway Theater League.
The mayor will outline the city's position on a new performing arts center. The city has been studying a rehab of the RBTL's current home, the Auditorium Theater and has also floated the Midtown Plaza site as a possibility.
Six suburban locations have already been proposed.
