Volunteers needed for H1N1 vaccine study

WHEC-TVHaven't been able to get a swine flu shot yet? Here's one way to guarantee a vaccine.

Scientists are looking for 80 healthy people in the Rochester area to take part in studies of the same H1N1 vaccine that is currently being administered to people at high risk and to health care workers.

They need volunteers from age 18 to 32 as well as people older than 60. Some volunteers will get paid.

Anyone interested in taking part in the H1N1 studies should call the Vaccine Research Unit of the University of Rochester Medical Center at 585-273-3990.
