Frank Garcia murder trial continues
The double murder trial of Frank Garcia continues.
On the witness stand today, a firearms expert who testified that shell casings found at the murder scene matched a gun that Garcia was carrying when he was arrested.
Also, cell phone records show he made phone call from Brockport just minutes before the shootings.
Closing arguments are expected on Monday and we will bring them to you live on our website www.whec.com. The jurors, by the way, are not being sequestered over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Garcia is accused of murdering his co-worker Mary Silliman and Randal Norman who stopped to help Silliman. It happened outside Lakeside Hospital on Valentine’s Day.
Garcia is already serving a life sentence for the murders of Christopher and Kimberly Glatz in Canandaigua also on Valentine’s Day just hours after the Brockport killings.
Police say Garcia targeted the female victims because they filed sexual misconduct complaints against him and he was fired from two jobs.
